Water Testing

Know exactly what's in your water.

A free, on-site water test takes about 30 minutes — and it's the most important first step before installing any treatment system. We test what's actually coming out of your tap, then explain what it means in plain English.

Water Testing

What we test for

  • Hardness (calcium & magnesium)
  • Iron and manganese
  • pH and alkalinity
  • Chlorine / chloramines
  • Total dissolved solids (TDS)
  • Hydrogen sulfide (rotten egg)
  • Bacteria & coliform (lab)
  • Lead, nitrates, arsenic (lab)

In-home test vs. lab test

Free in-home test (30 min)

We test your water on the spot for hardness, iron, pH, chlorine, TDS, and more. You get results immediately and a written summary.

Certified lab analysis

When we need to test for bacteria, lead, nitrates, or other health contaminants, we send a sample to a state-certified lab. Results in 5–7 business days.

Why you should test your water annually

Whether you're on city water or a private well, what's in your water changes over time. Pipes corrode, aquifers shift, treatment plants adjust their chemistry. The Pennsylvania DEP recommends well owners test annually — and city water customers should know what's coming through their lines too.
